Twitterpated
March 1st, 2010 by Angela
The sun is shining and the snow is gone! At least until tomorrow... but hurrah for March. I always, always get shafted by March. Annually, I'm convinced that first of March means first of spring and it really doesn't, does it? It's chuffing freezing. I have everything crossed that I'll be in my new J Brand denim jacket by the end of the month though. God bless the Barney's Warehouse Sale, $50 instead of $300.

So as some of you already know, I'm tweeting. You can find me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/The_Look and well, it's pretty much what you'd expect. Mindless musings of someone who spends a lot of the day watching Top Model (new season, March 10th!) and bitching with her best friend and her boyfriend. Go Angela, make the most of life...

At least I had an eventful weekend. If that's what you can call hitting a Tiger Beer party between 8.00-9.00pm for free beer and then following Jenny to a terrible country music night so she could try it on with some random guy she met at a wedding three years ago who Facebooked her with a picture of himself in a stetson and nothing else. Alas, it did not turn out well and after an hour long hike home in cowboy boots (when in Rome) and two feet of snow, I tried to stem her 'I'm going to die alone' sobbing session with badly mixed margaritas, frozen bean burritos and some impromptu yoga lessons. I've completed three myself, this clearly makes me an expert.

Sunday morning, we threw ourselves across the road and into Scottie's Diner where we followed up the yoga sesh by consuming more bacon than exists in the EU. There are lots of foodie things I miss about the UK but I can't imagine not having endless supplies of American bacon ever again. I don't know what they do to pigs here but it's magical. Actually I sort of never want to know. Once we'd sobered up, we dragged ourselves uptown to MoMA to check out the Tim Burton exhibit - it's amazing, almost as good as bacon. Almost. I was a little bit hungover/heartbroken though because The Mean Men at MoMA have moved my favourite painting and now I have to stand sobbing like a loon in the middle of an open thoroughfare. Awk-Ward.

Anyway, I have epic amounts of work to do and this bag of Cheeze-Its aren't going to eat themselves...

Mood: TWITTERPATED! (As in the happy animals of Bambi and not someone who uses Twitter far too much)
Currently listening to: www.myspace.com/marinaandthediamonds Still not sure how I feel about it but look how beautiful her make up is on the myspace site... Ahh.
