Hello New York, Hello New Boys...

Hey,
Angela here - safe and sound in New York City. Actually not safe and sound. Actually sweaty and sobbing. Good God it's warm here. According to the trusty BBC website it's warm back in the UK too but honestly, I've never known anything like this. And apparently it's only going to get worse.
Yay.
My main concern, as you can imagine, is what this horrible humidity is doing to my hair. Not. Good. Things. And that is no help at all when, for the first time in my entire 26 years, I'm dating.
Yes, hold the front page, wake up the Queen, alert the Pope - an actual miracle has occurred. I am dating. And as far as I can tell, it's not a pity date set up by one of my lovely new New York friends. Which is a bit worrying actually because I'm not convinced this is a very good idea. Actually I have two dates. With two really hot men. I was going to type boys but do you know what, I think they are technically men. They appear to need to shave and everything. Go me.
The only problem is, I'm totally freaking out. I mean, what do you even do on a date? What are we supposed to talk about? Will he be all flirty and use loads of terrible lines? Will I just clam up like a big fat clam? Will he think I'm fat? Should I eat clams? IT'S ALL TOO MUCH!
Right, calm down, Angela. There's only one thing for it and that thing is booze. I'm sure this will all make a lot more sense after a quick cocktail. It is cocktail hour after all*. I'll let you know how I get on when I'm back.
*note to self - find out what time cocktail hour actually is. Not convinced that it is 2.30 in the afternoon...

New York in July was there last year and it was 92 degrees wow!Don't worry about your hair you can get a 'do' on 5th Avenue, whilst you're shopping!

HOT also in Italy. I am definitely sweating buckets! Please don't tell anyone...about cocktail hour, it should be around 6.30... but since I am not in NY, can't be sure!
