It's not actually, it's lovely. New York still has its big, thick blanket of snow and it's bloody freezing but it's also beautifully sunny and there are clear blue skies for miles and miles and miles. No, really. It SUCKS. There isn't an appropriate English term for being ill during everyone's holiday parties. I've had this ridiculous stomach bug for three straight days and I can't keep any food down. Not even Lucky Charms. I repeat, not Even Lucky Charms. It's quite scary.
Luckily, my Christmas spirit hasn't been completely hampered since I've managed to fit in The Nightmare Before Christma ...more

And why did no one every tell me before that nowhere does Christmas like America does Christmas? Honestly, I feel like everyone in England is Scrooge and everyone in America is Santa. Not that those two ever really hung out. As far as I know? Hmm?
