Black and White is a small, unassuming bar with some great seventies rock tunes on the stereo and a half-price happy hour between 6-8pm on weekdays. I'm not sure about weekends although i will endeavour to find out and get back to you.
Oh, and be warned, the measures are stro-oh-oh-oh-oh-ng.

Make sure you get there early if you want a table.

Brookyln Bowl

Now, I'm hardly the world's biggest bowling fan but I LOVE this place. It's a huge, old warehouse space converted into a very cool bowling alley, restaurant, bar and gig space.

I don't spend a lot of time bowling but I love to go to shows here and even more, I love to eat here. The Blue Ribbon restaurant is famous in New York and the burgers and the frozen margaritas are amazing... Also, single...more

The Dove rocks. It's a really fab little hideaway in the Village, with a great wine list, some delish cocktails, and some delightful pink flocked wallpaper. What's not to love?...more
