Back down to Soho for this hidden gem. The rooms might be wee, but the location is to die for, and the lack of a minibar is made up for by the fact that Soho, Chinatown and Little Italy are all literally on your doorstep.
One word of caution, there is a club next door, so try and pitch for a room as high up as you can if you're sensitive to noise. The hotel is super clean, the staff are super helpful and, yeah, there's no minibar, but that means you're not going to get a nasty surprise on your bill. There is complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water, as well as free internet access in your room. And if you get peckish and can't be bothered to put your shoes on? There are two well-stocked vending machines in the basement.
Looks much swankier than it costs...
