New York
THE HUDSON
May 20th, 2009 by Angela
Heading a little further uptown, The Hudson is a great choice if you're shopping tastes are more Barneys and Bergdorf, not to mention it's mere blocks from Tiffany.

The Hudson prides itself on being 'cheap chic', but that's cheap by New York standards, i.e. not very. It is however, beautiful and totally worth the money. The rooms are on the small side, but you're getting a really swanky payoff if you can stand it - besides, how much time are you planning to spend in your room? There's a rooftop garden, a business centre, gym, bars and cafeteria - pause for breath - you could do a lot worse than making The Hudson your home away from home.

The Hudson is in a great location, with a great but expensive bar - its the place to be seen!  Small rooms though...

The Hudson is very stylish indeed.  But try not to get drunk and slip over in the lobby - hilarious but not cool (it was snowing and there was water everywhere - thats my excuse).  If you want to have a drink in their famous bar, ignore how rude the staff are and you'll have a good time.  Rooms are extremely small, but location is fantastic.

The Hudson is a pretty great hotel, some rooms are small - unless you pay or blag an upgrade!
