Someone told me they saw Justin Timberlake there and I was sold. Then I ate the food and I was hooked!

Alta on West 10th Street is a really cool modern tapas place where everything sounds random but is actually delicious. Perfect for a date, the little plates make great sharing food.

Don't leave without trying the chocolate fondue!...more

Go for the cool atmosphere and casual celeb spotting, stay for the roast chicken. Yum!

Food is good, atmosphere is great, and the cocktails are strong. I'd ease off them until dessert. Which I would definitely be having. The Mercer Kitchen is famous as a seafood restaurant, but as I’ve said, gotta love that chicken. And the burgers. And the pizza actually. Oh and the calamari is some of the b...more

I really, really recommend that you brave it over to Brooklyn for one day, or just one afternoon. If nothing else, the food is yummy, and if possible, even cheaper than in Manhattan.
