If you're going for broke, go for Balthazar. A gorgeous French brasserie that packs many a celeb into its chic dining room.
At the first chance of a breakfast meeting (where they're paying) I'll suggest Balthazar for their wonderful, wonderful brekkies. French toast with home-made brioche. Mmm. And as soon as I've been paid, I'm rocking up for the steak frites. My boyfriend likes the moules marinières, but basically, it's all good.
Bring someone here for a special treat, perfect for the last night of your holiday.
