Shopping in New York makes you feel like the January sales are on twelve months of the year, Century 21 is going to make you feel as if you're in some kind of designer Primark.
Elbows at the ready though, Century 21 is famed for its high-end designer pieces at rock bottom prices. I've picked up Marc by Marc Jacobs dresses and coats at under $100, Ella Moss tops and dresses for less than $50, and then oodles of cashmere, rocking in at under $100.
There are shoes too. Wonderful wonderful shoes. And handbags. And dirt cheap jeans. My top tip? Get there early, get there in thin layers and don't arse about with the changing rooms. No one will look at you funny for trying on a ball gown over your smock top. It's totally the done thing.

You have to spend at least two days at Century 21, because it is chaos and you will find something each time you go there! Bought the best True Religions there and still have them! And the shoes....aaaah, I wanna go there again!!!January 27th, 2010 by Amy xx

I love the way you describe it as a Designer Primark as thats exactly what it is - Elbow deep in bargains but most of them sprawled all over the floor cause people are in such a rush to bag the best deals! My favourite place for Juicy Couture Bikinis ;-)
